Netsimco in Alabama

Netsimco is part of a team led by General Dynamics Information Technology that was recently awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to provide support to the Navy Systems Support Group (NSSG) and their program management responsibility for the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) system throughout the DoD. Specifically, Netsimco will be supporting the USAF with senior functional analysts in Montgomery, Alabama.

Netsimco Wins SeaPort-Next Generation Contract

On December 3rd the Navy awarded a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) new contract vehicle to Netsimco and 1,870 other companies. The SeaPort-Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) contract holds a total value of $5 billion and includes a five-year base period with one five-year option. This contract will replace the SeaPort-e contract vehicle and will provide two categories of services: Engineering Services and Program Management Services. Services within the two Categories contain 23 functional area subcategories, which may be performed under this contract for new and existing product areas, programs, or missions, which are assigned to these activities during the life of the contract. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Office of Naval Research, or the United States Marine Corps may issue task orders under this contract.

Netsimco teams up with Rite Solutions and is awarded $49.6M Naval Undersea Warfare Center Contract

NETSIMCO as a subcontractor to Rite-Solutions is part of an exclusive team that has secured a $49.6M contract to provide information technology services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

Netsimco will contribute to the support of NUWC’s activity chief information officer/information technology division, which handles compliance, maintenance, operations and strategic planning of the center’s IT architecture.

The contract covers delivery of services such as application management, software engineering, client and Navy Marine Corps Intranet support and IT governance.

Netsimco’s team members hold cybersecurity or computer science degrees and security and operating system certifications. Our people are fully qualified as per the Navy’s cyber IT/cybersecurity workforce requirements.

Under this contract, NETSIMCO will contribute to the facilitation of IT support for NUWC offices in Rhode Island, Virginia, Florida, the Bahamas and Connecticut.

Netsimco Awarded $92.3M Navy Contract

On 14 July, the Navy announced that Netsimco, a Middletown-based defense contractor, had won a $92.3M contract to provide information technology, audio-visual and cyber security services.  The multiple-award contract will provide support to the U.S. Naval Academy, Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. and Naval War College.  CEO Michael Waite, credits Netsimco’s 150 current employees for their skills and dedication in bringing advanced educational technologies to the Navy.  

Netsimco Wins Web Redesign Contract

On Friday 16 September 2016 Netsimco won a Seaport-e Task Order to support the complete redesign of the Naval War College Website. The 18 month effort will focus on the complete redesign and re-hosting of the web site to better align with the War College strategic vision. Our changes will make it easier to operate and maintain the site, providing Chairs and Deans the ability to control and migrate new web content from various departments.

Netsimco Wins UWDC TAG Contract

On August 1st 2016, Netsimco was awarded an $8.65M contract to support the Tactical Analysis Group of the Undersea Warfighting Development Center in Groton, CT. This impressive win solidified our corporate footprint in CT, and took nearly two years of hardwork. UWDC is a growing Command which will consolidate several different Naval mission areas. We will provide classified analysis and operational research for the TAG, dealing with its critical subsurface mission areas.

Netsimco Wins Senior Enlisted Academy Contract

On October 1st, 2016 the Navy announced that Netsimco won a two year contract to provide the Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA) with Distance Learning/Faculty Adviser support for its expanded course offerings. SEA is the Navy’s premier academic institution, educating today’s Senior Enlisted Leaders for tomorrow’s global challenges.
